HD recently found a couple of old canisters of used film. Yeah, film. I wasn't sure that you could still get film developed! We both knew that more than likely there would be pictures of Jeff on the rolls, but we had no idea when the pics were taken- might be copies of pictures that we already had. He got the film developed, and sadly there were only 7 or 8 pictures with any image quality at all. There is a picture of Beau when we first adopted him. He was so cute, but SO dumb! He has grown into a beautiful, good dog, but he was a serious challenge as a pup. We also got a few pictures of Abbie. Gorgeous Abbie. Best dog ever. Period. A few very faded, grainy pictures from Christmas 2002, just Jeff, Doug and I. And one, clear, brilliant picture of Jeff in the City Center parking lot. He is tan, and smiling, mohawk painted red, white and blue. You can't really see the mohawk in the picture, be we remember it well. I'm so grateful for these few pictures. One thought that haunts me is that there will be no more pictures of Jeff. No more memories. so wrong. It hurts like hell to look at them, but I also know that they are an incredible gift.
